"A’Zambezi is luxury enhanced by being on the bank of the Zambezi River. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and especially the location: having wild animals routinely wondering through the grounds (we saw Kudu and Elephants!) and watching the Zambezi River from both the restaurant and the balconies of our rooms makes this one of the best places I have ever stayed. It is expensive but worth it, and we will definitely return. One very minor point was that one of our party bumped into the sprinklers in the thatch of the walkways behind the rooms: would be worth adding some signage or making them more obvious. "

"Great stay. Friendly and engaging staff, especially with our 10 yesr old. Comfortable rooms, though one of the two bedrooms had a much stronger A/C unit. Solid restaunrant and bar, though a little slow. Breakfast was not included with our booking and the price was much higher than I would have expected. Centrally located. Free shuttle to Victoria Falls every hour. The shuttle driver was the star of our stay."

"We were really looking forward to our stay here and the hotel delivered. Our room was gorgeous with a really gorgeous aesthetic that balanced Classic and modern design. Service was really nice and staff very friendly (especially Lauren at check in). We organised transfers through the hotel; and all of them turned up perfectly on time which really impressed me. My one criticism would be the Livingstone Room, it was marketed as a very high end restaurant, and the service was lovely indeed; but the food was quite mediocre and forgettable and many of the wines were unavailable. In addition, the vegetarian option was the same as what I ate the night before on the terrace which was disappointing. Nonetheless, the history and character of this hotel was exceptional and we had a truly lovely stay. "

"What an exceptional experience staying at The Elephant Camp! Carol, Gloria & all staff were extremely welcoming and caring. Can’t say enough about the comfortable & private rooms, exquisite meals, excursions and hospitality. An experience of a lifetime, including feeding the elephants, safari rides, trip to Victoria Falls with Lookout cafe and seeing all the wildlife in their environment. Don’t miss out, you won’t regret it! Stayed here for 3 nights and would recommend staying at least that long to appreciate this incredible property and staff. "

"This is a world class 5 star resort with guest services second to none. They are very accommodating and will go above and beyond for you. The resort and grounds are immaculate. Magnificent views of Zambezi and can see the spray from the falls. We stayed here for three weeks and I would highly recommend it. Sharon and her whole team at guest services were spectacular and always went the extra mile to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Trinity and his team at the front desk are very accommodating. Peter and his team in the restaurant and kitchen provide amazing service.You can truly immerse yourself in the African culture here if you desire"
