"This was exactly as described, Massimo was very engaging and informative, he told the history around the house and surroundings, the place is quaint and cozy, (especially the little wood stove), it was exhilarating to come home to after visiting busy, noisy Florence and Venice, climbing the windy little road was an experience in itself, if you love peace and quiet this is the place. We loved staying here for a month. ❤️"

"It was our first trip to Italy, and this was the perfect family dwelling. The pictures don't begin to capture the breathtaking Dolomites or the outstanding accommodations! The kitchen is a gem! So convenient and easy to cook. We had a chef come in to fix dinner on our last day, and he loved the kitchen, too. We took walks/hikes on the surrounding trails, and relaxed by the gorgeous pool which, by the way, has beautiful night lighting!! The owner fixed pizza in the outdoor pizza oven one evening,...

"Very traditional Tuscan property, lovely neighbourhood, next door neighbour nice,friendly and helpful coffee shop. Home restaurant lovely and a great experience, roads are a bit windy and narrow in places, car is essential to visit Places. Church bells take a bit of getting used to."

"The property is amazing, loads of space for 4 adults, comfortable and the views are fantastic. The pool was wonderful and Mirko (the property manager) was friendly and helpful. We didn’t have hot water in one of the showers at first, but he fixed the issue relatively quickly. The only downside is the track to the house. It is steep and very bumpy. We were aware of this but even so, the drive was not for the faint hearted!"

"When we arrived at our place we were relieved as the drive up the mountain was a bit scary the closer we got. When we opened the doors we were ecstatic at how nice the house was. Better than the online pictures. So much space and the views were breathtaking and different every morning. Wildlife out our back door. So many fire flies. Henné the property manager was so friendly and accommodating and helpful. Brought us coffee even after I said we were going for our own she arrived to meet us...

"Unbelievably stunning setting. You will need to be a confident driver to manage the roads up to the house as the roads are steep and winding as you would expect in Tuscany. The smell of Jasmine and the natural peaceful surrounding beauty is amazing. We used the pool everyday and enjoyed a bbq too. We loved the little lizards, flamboyant butterflies and stargazing at night. There is a great cafe about 29 minutes walking up the hill with a lovely atmosphere and a small local shop to get essentials...

"Fantastic location, wonderful people, home cooked meal was amazing. Relaxing, wonderful furnishings. Beware that the heat is very expensive if you use it! Kitchen is awesome to cook and views are unbelievable. Couldnt reccommend more for a true Tuscany experience. Views are stupendous. Was a highlight of our trip just to play with the dogs and sheep and get a gourmet meal. Easy to go all over the region from here as well. meal on Ne highly"

"We loved our stay at the villa. There was plenty of room and the kids loved the pool. The hosts were helpful. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area and the cities of Lucca, Pisa and Florence are outstanding. The nearer towns of Barga and Castelnuovo are also very attractive. The area has recently been a center of attention on BBC with Amanda Holden, Rob Rinder and Clive Myrie. However, if you don't like heights and hairpin bends up a mountainside, this might not be the villa for you."

"We had the most wonderful stay at the villa which also served as our wedding venue. Giacomo was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure the villa was perfect for our wedding day. The onsite facilities are lovely and very well equipped. The views from many of the apartment windows are absolutely breathtaking. We could’t have found a better venue to host our friends and family in the lead up to our wedding day and as a wedding venue. We truly had the most perfect Tuscan wedding!"
