"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"We had a fantastic 8 night stay in this comfortable, rustic cottage, which has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The terrace gets the sun all day long and the views are amazing. Inside the house is very comfortable, but we didn’t spend much time inside as the outside is so fantastic. We loved watching the night’s sky and saw shooting stars every night. The cottage is in an amazing setting. There are 2 other cabins on the property, but the plot is so large that you can’t see or hear...

"Der Aufenthalt bei Gonzalo war super. Ceck-in, Kommunikation, Lage, Ausstattung... alles war perfekt. Nur die Internetverbindung war nicht so stabil wie es beschrieben war, daher war ein Arbeiten nicht möglich. Wir hatten die besten 10 Tage in diesem schönen einfachen Haus!"

"The villa surpassed all expectations and photos do not do justice to the beautiful interiors. Easily accommodated two families of 4. A 15/20 minute walk into Sao Luis - authentic Portuguese town with lovely atmosphere, great cafe and restaurant and daily fish and vegetable market. Would definitely return and highly recommend."

"This cabin is super cute and located in the slow village. The antique furnishings were beautiful. We were able to walk to the restaurant and pizza place, and our kids walked down the street to see the chickens many times. The restaurant was really yummy (chocolate mousse with salt) and the pizza place was just average and only took euros. The only thing I would wish for is a fan. It got warm upstairs at night, and we could not leave the windows open because mosquitoes would get in. The bbq area...
