"We are a Canadian couple who have stayed in many property rentals over the years and we have to say that this property is the best of the best. The apartment is immaculate, quiet, fully equipped, even if you want to cook. Everything works and the lighting is great. It is lovingly and tastefully decorated. "Really beautiful place. Beautifully furnished (not IKEA!), totally nice bathrooms. Location is absolute heart of Sarlat - but up on the second floor - so you could hear the (summer) crowds below, but be “above it all” - very fun while making dinner for ourselves :-))! No a/c, so needed windows open - and it can be noisy - but for us, part of being in Europe! Well equipped kitchen (tho add ice cube trays, salad bowl). And be aware they charge an add’l fee $85 for linens (tho good quality linens)....

"This was an amazing place to be. Right in the old city and the parking provided was perfect. This place was within 5 minutes walk to restaurants, grocery stores and bakeries. All the bedrooms were well provided and a very impressive kitchen. I would love to be able to come back for another stay and will have no problem recommending this place to my friends. It was very helpful to have the property manager right nearby."

"Very impressed with the apartment, we loved every minute there and wished we’d booked longer. The balcony was lovely to sit out on even with the road being directly below, we had all five of us sat there chatting on a few occasions. Inside the property the layout suited everyone with several places to sit and the pool was an added bonus. Location is perfect, minutes away from Lidl for supplies and a nice walk into Sarlat centre. There are many narrow passages with restaurants and shops to go...

"This appartment is extremely well located near Sarlat and within the vicinity of many interesting places. Friendly, discrete hosts that were at our service when needed: we missed a hairdryer (which was mentioned in the house description) and they immediately solved that. Appartment was very cool which was welcome with day temperatures of +35°C. Only downside: the appartment is very damp (known to the hosts) and the mechanical ventilation does not entirely solve this."

"Enjoyed the rural setting and the evening quiet. Once we found it, the place was easy to access and find our way around the area. Overall, decent lodging at a good price. Although small, the studio was decently outfitted with some exceptions... No dish cloth or dish towels. Less than half a roll of toilet paper. No garbage collection during our 5 night stay. Shower head needed some tightening, flopped all over the place."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment in such a beautiful medieval town. Comfortable beds and good cooking facilities. Great view of the street below. Parking is a short walk away but perfectly doable. Highly recommended! Top tip: the burgers at Rue Eat almost directly below the apartment are delicious!"

"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
