"We booked here for 2 nights, but only stayed an hour, as we were upset about the poor animals living on the 'farm'. Nothing wrong with the rooms or the swimming pool, but the poor horses & donkeys are kept in awful living conditions. One horse had a huge wound on his leg, which was oozing with puss & covered in flies. The horses are very thin, with prominent ribs. The donkeys have no fresh water, only a green slimy area. "This place is amazing! The perfect place to sleep in the mountains. Trust your good GPS and you’ll find it, really worth it. We were welcomed and guided by Agostino. It was a pleasure to eat a great breakfast with all local, farm-grown products! Such a nice experience for my kids that enjoyed this place w/o TV. "The stay was fantastic and all the staff was super friendly and always eager to help and share about the area. A plus is the free access to the gardens of Villa Melzi which are incredibly beautiful and give an easier way to reach Bellagio city center, located at least 20 minutes away by foot. The breakfast is also very nice and if I go again to Bellagio I won’t hesitate to stay here once more."

"Lovely staff, greated very warmly and goven lots of helpful information. The coffee machine was free to use and made lovely espressos. Was also free water in a fridge which was lovely to have. Our room was very clean. Bed a bit hard but no big deal. Had a huge bath that myself and wife could both go in. Gorgeous soaps/shower gel to use. Water pressure wasnt great to fill tub or for shower which would be only minor complaint. Would gladly go back."
