"Beautiful property. Comfortable bed. Very low water pressure in shower. Onsite Restaurant 1796 was excellent with great staff, great cocktails, and excellent food. Even accommodated my wife's gluten free diet needs. Elta Coffee onsite for breakfast was a disappointment. Even though I gave notice ahead of time(twice) of my wife's Celiac disease requiring gluten free options they had no gluten free options available."

"The property was exactly what we needed. Plenty of room, beautiful view on the water, and the home was just as beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and all the beds had the most comfortable bedding. We spent our mornings playing mahjong on the screen in porch while drinking coffee and looking at the water. During the day we went shopping in Saint Francisville and had dinner at the Myrtles. We will definitely be going back. The town of New Roads was so cute. It was raining...

"We had a great weekend in False River! For most of us, it was our first experience at an LSU game and needed a good place/location for the game. Ma Mamma’s is a great place for evening meal. Great food and perfect place to take a big group or just your special someone. The house was clean, spacious and provided everything and more for our group. I would definitely recommend this place for a great stay. Great communication by the owner too!!"
