"From the moment Sonia picked me up at the Crans-Montana station to my last grapefruit gin and tonic before leaving, my 3 nights at Hotel Mont Paisible were all I hoped for. Calm, quiet, and comfort. Lucky me: I was given a free room upgrade to Prestige, with private balcony and panoramic view of the Alps and valley. The room was spacious, the bathroom a bit worn looking but everything was clean. The bed was comfortable, the sheets and towels pristine. I appreciated the little room refrigerator for my sandwiches: the hotel restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays, and only open evenings thereafter. The one meal I had there was delicious and well presented. Their menu du soir proposal was a generous 3-course meal for a very reasonable CHF 42. Included breakfasts featured a well-stocked buffet with stunning views. My two massages with Simone were most enjoyable and relaxing. They included a complimentary hour of sauna time which I did not use. As I arrived by train I had to walk up a fairly steep hill in the thin mountain air for 5-7 minutes to get the bus into the village: a bit of a challenge for my age and fitness level. The staff were all so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I got to speak English, French, and Italian with them. It was just the kind of cozy atmosphere I hoped to find."

When we told them that we would be checking out very early the next morning, they made us a packed lunch to take on our trip. We also received 20% off dinner at their on-property restaurant which ended up being the best meal of our trip. "
