"Nice hotel in a handy location for rail and ferry travel. Really good selection of options for breakfast. Just find it a bit much to have to pay for a cup of coffee outside of meal times when many places in the world provide that for free. "

"We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. "We stayed for one night before taking the ferry over to Norway. The place was lovely but the two sofa beds were very firm so it was difficult to get comfortable enough to sleep. There were no trash receptacles so we had to find a plastic bag to use The beach was incredible so because of that we would stay here again. "
