"This property is in the foothills of Mount Ventoux. The views from the house are amazing. Each morning a short drive to the boulangerie In Bedoin and then sit outside the property looking down at the world going by with a coffee, fresh baguette, Comte cheese and a beef tomato you could not be anywhere better in the world. In the evening cooking outside with a bottle of wine and watch the sunset. The property had everything you need. I read in one of the reviews that they should have supplied...

"We can thoroughly recommend a holiday in this unique and beautifully restored early 18th century windmill with a stunning view over the Pont-du-Gard. It is only a short walk into the friendly and historic village with bars, post office and boulangerie. The owners were most welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We will fondly remember the sound of the cicadas and sunset over the Pond-du-Gard. Thank you!"

"There was one downside of this place - the creeping service fees which are not declared on the Vrbo profile. The website announces that bedding is provided, but then the owner writes to you to ask for €10 per person for sheets and towels. On arrival, you are told to use a screwdriver to clean the shower drains of hair before you leave. Then on departure, with minutes to spare, you are told to clean the whole place yourself or pay another €50. It’s not unusual to ask for a cleaning fee, but...

"We thoroughly enjoyed a lovely week at this property. The house is easy to find (about an hour's drive from Marseille Airport) It was very clean and well equipped. The location is a great base for visiting nearby attractions (Gordes, L'isle sur La Sorgue, Fontaine de Vacleuse, Rousillion) and lovely markets. "Nice property, pretty much as advertised. Owners were very communicative, helpful & pleasant, check in & out easy. The bed was really comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with everything you need from breakfast to evening meal. It has a nice terrace outside, but we didn’t use it to eat out on as the wind was unusually strong while we were there. "Really lovely quiet gite on the outskirts of the village. We were very lucky to have the pool to ourselves all week. The host, Sylvain, is really helpful but not intrusive and there is plenty to see and do in the area. Thank you Sylvain for a splendid holiday!"

"Aircon cottage welcome in hot weather. Access to and finding property far from good due to closed roads and very potholed access road. Not many decent towns to explore, other than Avignon and le Sourge near the cottage. Lavender was beautifull. We prefer the Dordogne area due to our lack of French and the Provancers lack of English."

"Right from the start we were welcomed! The house was lovely and clean with all amenities needed and the pool wonderful. So close to Gordes - an easy 0.6km walk up to the centre.
