"Positives: - Great location, tons of restaurants and other shopping as soon as you get out on to the street. - excellent communication with the host, - Felt secure the whole time we were there (need 2 codes for two separate doors), - very quiet, beds were not bad. - Kids loved the split level for their bed. Negatives: - Great for a couple but felt small for a family with 2 kids. - The bathroom only has a shower curtain for the shower and the water easily gets outside the shower area...

"The flat is as described, though I’m uncertain it technically classifies as two bedrooms considering one is just a bed with a curtain that closes. The location is amazing - very close to public transportation, lots of shops and restaurants, and a grocery store nearby. "We had great communication with the host and, on arriving, being provided with keys and shown the apartment and provided with local recommendations. The apartment has everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The location could not be better - a quick trip into Paris, or take the time to explore and get the Montmartre community feels. The chimes of the church across the road and seeing the Eiffel out the window, across the rooftops was amazing. Be prepared to carry luggage up...

"Vintage French apartment with winding stairs and tall windows. A coffee shop is to the right, a market is to the left and the area if flooded with restaurants and bakeries. Great local, very nice unit. Wake to church bells every morning. A short walk to the train station and off you go to any location in the region."

They were super generous in stocking the fridge with waters, juices for the kids, milks, and creamer for coffee! And a fantastic bottle of wine and fruit from the garden as a welcome, which we enjoyed on the balcony! The house is lovely - the photos don't do it justice. "No A/C as was indicated in ad. Rooms on the top level got very hot. Two of the doors to the exterior and 1 window on main level could not be locked or closed properly. Main bathroom only had one small functioning lightbulb, made for very dim bathroom use after dusk. Bring toilet paper. Would not recommend."
