"I thought i just needed a place to sleep for the night. It turns out what i REALLY needed was a night at the spa. Everything was incredibly quiet and comfortable. Angelina was behind the counter and made everything flow seamlessly. She really went the extra mile to ensure i had a wonderful visit. I truly cannot say enough about this place and the place i found here. I will make it a part of all future travel plans to the area because it was such a positive experience. "We spent a night there as it was mentioned in the guide we had. The place is lovely and we had a walk around the village. They can provide bikes to ride around at a price. When we visited (1 Sept) only one restaurant was open so it was lucky that we had booked in advance as there are no other places to eat close by. The restaurant menu is not every extensive but the basil ice cream was very nice. The b'fast is good and the view is great. The only downside, which is nothing to do with the hotel, was that despite the fact that it was very quiet when we visited, we had some people staying above us and could hear them very well so I wonder how noisy it becomes in summer time. "

"Property was fine but staff not warm and welcoming at all. We stayed a week and breakfast staff said “Hi” once. Never even checked we were guests. Beds very soft but shower was good. TV limited options for international traveler. "
