When you're traveling with three teenagers, finding a place that doesn't make everyone want to stage a rebellion is practically a miracle—and this place delivered!The location was perfect—close enough to our relatives in Stoutsville that we could pop over whenever we wanted, but far enough that we didn't have to hear Uncle Bob's "when I was your age" stories 24/7 (love you, Uncle Bob!).The kitchen was well-equipped for both my ambitious breakfast plans and the kids' midnight snack raids. Our teenagers actually said they "didn't hate it," which in teen-speak translates to a five-star review. "

"An amazing property with lots of room for a small family gathering. Private setting with ample parking for boat and trailer. Loved the decor complete with plenty of amenities! Perfect location for hiking and stargazing. Mark Twain Lake is a five minute drive."

"This place is very quiet & we slept so well. Nice updated home. Big ceiling fans that this old lady appreciated. Extremely clean, except beneath living room chairs. Great internet connection. Neat porch sitting. This is a nice place for a family or our couple's getaway. We would rent again."
