Definitely recommend spending a little bit more to get on this boat ~ we were traveling from the USA and we thought the weather was supposed to be nice and it rain for both days that we were in Ha Long Bay, which kind of sucked, but you can’t control the weather. "This hotel is a GEM!!!! I'm so glad that I booked this hotel! This hotel gives a very welcoming feel right from the moment I arrived. Friendly staff and they all spoke good English. The breakfast spread was fantastic. In short, this is nothing less than any 5-star hotel. The only shortcoming of this hotel is that there's another building which has come up right in front of the hotel so the sea view is now blocked with just partial sea view left and the construction sight isn't great (with trash etc) when you look out of the window. "
