"There was some miscommunication the first few days of our vacation. None of the problems were the fault of our host, it was the staff where we checked in. As soon as the host knew he contacted his people & problems were solved. We would definitely stay again at this host’s property. "The view from this beautiful property cannot be beat! The house is totally condusive to large groups and gives everyone plenty of space. The double living area lends itself for big families, such as ours.The staff was incredible, always keeping a low profile, as to not be in the way, though, there should you need anything. "Booked with another four person family and it was AMAZING! The home is gorgeous, views are stunning and the staff were so caring and wonderful. Our children loved the pool, the lazy river, and the "little pool" or jacuzzi when it wasn't hot. The evening breeze made the balcony irresistible at night. We slept so soundly and peacefully. "1. Mark Austin was easy to communicate with and facilitated everything we needed before getting to the property. Recommendations, reminders for paperwork, and setting up the transportation to and from the airport with the resort. 2. Arrival was seamless. Make sure you do your Dominican E-Ticket for both arrival AND departure or you will be stuck trying to do it at the airport. 3. Per Mark, recommend bringing smaller bills ($1s and $5s) for tipping. "Arrived and other guest were already staying at property, owner rented house to 3 different families. We had to leave without a place to stay on a Mother's Day weekend in Dominican Republic. We were there to take our mother out to relax that weekend and ended up being charged and stay prepaid and already confirmed was not granted. Neither owner, Expedia or VRBO responded to messages or phone calls."
