"We thought this place was wonderful. The living/dining room was well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is a balcony looking over the ruins of the nunnery and the town. Bed and bath were very nice, and I appreciated the washer. Caroline was helpful, and brought peaches from her garden: delicious. One caveat: 2nd floor means "climb 2 long flights of stairs"."

"Splendid apartment in a decent location. The apartment block was very quiet. The style was unique as you can see from the photos, but very comfortable. Electric shutters all round made nights sufficiently dark and quiet. Ginette & Claude were lovely and extremely helpful, going above and beyond in explaining everything about the apartment and general area. We managed to get through the communication problems caused by my poor French."

"We were a little confused about the number of bedrooms, listing details said two bedrooms. There was only the one seperate bedroom with a double bed and a travel cot. The Sofa bed was in the lounge area. It was not a problem for us but could be if you really need two seperate bedrooms. Everything I needed and all the activities were within a 2 to 15 minute walk - post office, grocery store, walking tours, bakeries, restaurants, everything! I have stayed in several VRBO rentals over the years, and Francis is, by far, the best host I have ever met! He is so caring, attentive and helpful, and can’t do enough for you. He communicated regularly to be sure everything was okay with my stay. It was a wonderful month’s stay....

"Helpful host who adjoins the property so any issues easily resolved as they are on hand. Was very hot when we stayed and although fans provided it made sleeping in the mezzanine very warm. The pool was a welcome relief and kept spotlessly clean by the host who shut it down each evening and cleaned each day. Lovely welcome ‘basket!’ of wine, bread, pizza etc. great location to visit Saint Emilion, Bergerac etc and lots of fabulous markers. Would stay again"
