"It’s a beautiful place and very clean. We loved EVERYTHING except for the roads and steps. It’s hard to find. Parking is tight with lots of steps to get in and around the house. It’s a great view though! "

"The property has an attractive top floor and good seating outside and lovely views of the Douro. It’s billed as being ideal for families who want to holiday together but have their own space but this isn’t really the case. "La casa es estupenda, tal como aparece en las fotos. El apartamento es amplio, nuevo y comodo, hay una terraza con vista al jardín grande para comer-cenar a la sombra. La piscina y jacuzi con agua calentita. Hemos tenido suerte y casi no hemos coincidido con los otros huespedes (hay otros dos apartametos mas pequeños). Los dueños viven al lado y son siempre diponibles. Todo un lujo. Aveiro esta a 15min con el coche y la playa de barra a 20min. Supermercados cerca. Muy comodo. Super aconsejable."

"Fabulous home in a beautiful, serene valley. You will definitely feel the love when you arrive here. We were greeted by the whole family bearing, wine, charcuterie, and a pineapple upside down cake. It is always such an honor to stay in one of these family homesteads. Lots of space, beautiful décor, amazing landscaping and views of the village. Enjoy a walk along the river in the flowers and vineyards. This is a great place to relax."

"We had an amazing holiday here. The pool is huge and the gardens are beautiful with lots of shaded areas to sit and eat. Carmen was very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome and gave us all the privacy we needed - the perfect host. A thoroughly relaxing time and a great location for exploring nearby towns like Braga, Aveiro and Porto. A wonderful place to stay!"

"We moved from another place on short notice, and they were very accommodating. We visited Porto, Aviero, braga Arouca, 516 bridge and Gaia. It is located in a little town and is on a private street where we could park right in front. It was walking distance to restaurants and various things. Not a lot of businesses in the town but we purposely wanted a quiet place. The apartment was on the first floor, which is one up from the ground, and what was the equivalent of a house. "Very nice house overall. We used the pool and barbecue. The view was gorgeous. It was a little further from the wineries we planned to visit but was a easy trip to Porto by car. The was some excellent hiking nearby. We could have used trash bins in the bathrooms. We would have appreciated a notebook with recommendations about restauants and things to do"

"The condo was absolutely beautiful and fresh. Fernando was an amazing host. The toen is beautiful and the people friendly and accommodating. Great restaurants in this area. We could hear the beach waves from the condo. It was soothing and calming. The beach is magnificent! The condo is well equipped. Grocery within walking distance. There is no outside terrace only a table by the front door on the driveway. No mention was made of upstairs tenants who park their car by the outside table.
