"I have been to Sicily many times and lived there years a go. This property lets you really live the Sicilian life. You need a car so you can appreciate the best of what is on offer. The owners of the property are exquisite. So friendly. The place is a chill out relaxing place with views and smells of the Sicilian countryside. "Nice hotel, lovely staff on reception. Nowhere is walkable from here, though Erice, Trapani a short drive. Great views in see view rooms. No real bar as such just a few hard seats in the restaurant no comfy seats."

"I booked into the Torre Xiare at the end of April, and the hotel was just about empty. It looked as if the season had not really started and hence many of the facilities of the hotel were not available. If the hotel was busy and the facilities available I would imagine that it would a good place to stay at a reasonable price."
