"Herwann is a very nice host, the location and the layout of the house are great. Unfortunately, a few things are getting on in years and need a refurbishment. and the cleanliness was also a bit lacking, we found stains on the bedding and blankets. Also the lanai was basically unusable as it was completely filthy. This was a great pity, as the location and layout of the accommodation are perfect. and: there were obviously mothballs in the bedrooms and wardrobes which gave off a really unpleasant...

"Difficult to locate, parking is a long walk away up and down cobble-stone streets, check-in is complicated, the apartment name is not as advertised, the nearby church bells sound on the hour. Given the cost and problems it is not good value for money - better to stay at the nearby Parador. Can fully recommend Santillana."

"A fantastic place to stay to enjoy the coast and mountains of Asturias. The two terraces are amazing and there is a great set of furniture on each to enjoy the sun from morning to evening. The apartment has everything you could need and is obviously a loved home, it made staying here even more special. Friendly and helpful communications from Felipe throughout made us feel at home. "La casa es amplia y muy cómoda, tiene una ubicación inmejorable. En una zona muy tranquila a 10 minutos caminando del centro del pueblo y a 5 minutos de una ruta de senderismo muy bonita junto a la costa cántabra. Las vistas son una maravilla y estuvimos realmente a gusto desayunando mirando al mar.
