"The front desk clerk, did not speak clear English, then when we checked out at 5:30 Am no one was at the front desk I called no answer, I waited over 10 min, finally a guy pushing a cart came by, ask if anyone was here to check out he said was him, I watch 2 other people just leaves key, no room number, he said in 2 hours he would check everyone out. It was a great location, big rooms . "

"The robes were old and worn and the two females with day shift housekeeping were literally sitting on the table at the end of my hallway with their vacuum cleaner out in the hallway. They were there talking loudly each time and came and went from my room around 8:40-9am. The door to the stairs was left open and my phone was malfunctioning when I tried to hand it up. It made a loud screeching noise for a few minutes."

We had a great overlook of Gore Creek. The staff is highly trained and very friendly. The continental breakfast was very good. The restaurant menu had many options with the main focus of Austrian style food. The prices were comparable to other Vail restaurants. The bar was a great place to hang out and people watch or catch a game. Lastly, the hotel is full of history so if you want to experience Vail then this is the hotel to drop bags and stay a night or two!"
