"Beautiful hotel, room, service from the staff and amenities! Unfortunately I got sick due to altitude and the hotel, besides some local herb infusions, didn’t have any medication to help fight the sickness. I understand they don’t want to be responsible for any contraindications or side effects but they should have medication available and simply have the guest sign a release of liability. The hotel is far away from any pharmacy so more than herbal choices should be made available "

"Wonderful boutique hotel amongst the dusty and noisy streets of Uyuni. The surrounds were typical for the city unfortunately. We were only there for a night after the salt flats tour. Nice breakfast, helpful staff. Only negative is that our room was very cold and we never figured out the heating. But that was more our fault than anything. "

"The Tonito Hotel is the ONLY place to even consider staying in Uyuni! The hotel is truly an oasis in the salt desert! "The hotel looks it is very new. The room was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated, the hot water shower worked well. The señor at reception was incredibly nice and helpful beyond words. He will give recommendations on where to eat and help you with any questions. He also called a taxi for me and waited with me for the taxi to arrive as Uber doesn’t work in Uyuni. "We spent one night in this hotel. We booked it as the last minute as the hotel we first booked was closed. We arrived at the hotel by bus before 5 am and Almidena staff was there and opened the door for us. They also allowed us to early check in so we could get a room to take shower and had a nap. The staff Santos (hopefully I remember his name correctly) is very helpful. He took care of us very well and provided all convenience for us. Only one thing I can complain this hotel is its facility....

"The location is a bit far from downtown. Around 10 min walking distance. There is no shop around, the tour agencies and shops are all in the central. However I have great rest in hotel.
