"From the minute this weary traveler stepped foot into the restaurant/pub I knew this would be a huge bonus to my trip other than just a room! The entire staff were amazing! The food was so delicious (especially the DEEP FRIED BUTTER CHICKEN - the lamb shanks, and many other dishes.The rooms were very cozy and the beds are big. "Really lovely hotel! Highly recommend- we stayed here as there were train strikes so made it difficult for us to get to London. Amersham is a gorgeous little village- reminded me of the film ‘The Holiday’ but also only an hour (if that) on the tube into central London. "This was a cute and slightly quirky room, something different than a cookie-cutter hotel room. The staff was friendly and the pub below us had great food and beer. Our room on the 1st floor was a little loud until the pub closed. It was steps away from the Tube (on a direct line to Heathrow), making it a great jumping-off location."

"The property served the purpose of our trip.Very clean,comfy bed and reasonably priced for the area.Bathroom was a bit awkward as toilet was very low to the floor and shower couldn’t be adjusted upwards so had to bend down to was hair. Staff friendly and on call 24hrs.Stairways very narrow so if like my wife your claustrophobic I might think about staying somewhere else if also unable to use the very small lifts!!"

"Overnight stay on way back home from Luton Airport to Yorkshire. Very helpful lady on reception. Room was clean, comfy KS bed, tea,kettle,iron & hairdryer. Only fault, bath very small, and someone in the Hotel set the smoke alarm off which woke us up!"
