"We loved the stay. It is a hanok, which means we slept on a futon, but I would not want it any different. The staff let us check in early and stored our luggage until it was time to leave. We received a letter translated to English on our arrival as they did not speak a lot of English. Their understanding of English was better than my understanding of Korean. Prior to our arrival, they also sent us detailed instructions for us to give the taxi driver. I hope to go back some day."

"Had a fantastic stay at The Mumum! Very clean and well kept property conveniently located close to all of the sites in the Jeonju Hanok Village. The host and hostess were so kind and helpful. A very large and delcious breakfast of fruit, rice cakes and rice was brought to our room each morning. The hostess was ever helpful - showing us directions, calling taxis for us, and even gave us a bag of oranges and chestnuts to snack on the day we went to Naejangsan. "The property was a nice well kept traditional hanok accomodation. You are within the Hanok village, therefore dining and shopping options are easily accessed. "

"Cozy and pleasant stay right in the middle of the Hanok village. Traditional style of house with modern comforts, very clean, host was very helpful and hospitable with check-in, check-out, and had local suggestions for activities and dining. Easy to get around, and happy to recommend. "

"I enjoyed my stay at Becky Guesthouse. I love the art gallery & café on the ground floor, a lovely space to rest. The welcome tea is a nice touch. The location is perfect to visit Jeonju’s main attractions just a few minutes walk away. Lots of shops, cafes, restaurants, etc, near by. The room had everything I needed. Quiet location, just some guests slamming doors… Bus links to Jeonju’s train station just down the road which was handy. Thank you for a lovely stay in Jeonju :) "

"Very helpful staff, have Whatsapp to communicate. Be prepared for a rustic hanok, but it's a good experience. AC and bathroom were modern and helpful. It is right in the heart of the tourist village and sightseeing area."

"This place is in a great area, especially if you want to see the Hanok village or take any historical tours. The room was clean and the host responded to my questions online quickly. She was friendly, and allowed me to keep my suitcase on a different floor even after checkout. I don't recommend staying for more than one or two nights, though. There's no bed, so you sleep on a mat (if you're used to that, it's okay, but if not, it will be uncomfortable). The room is also very noisy. The...

"This home was so charming, clean, and perfectly located for walking around town. I loved that we were on a quaint alley away from the nightlife but close to all the sites. And the owners spent a long while helping us pick where to go. Really wonderful people. Wish they were my grandparents lol so I could visit their cute home. My only regret is only staying one night."

"Clean and kind service, however, shower was not convenient because the toilet was a wet style. No partition between the shower and toilet. I feel that the bedding covers were not cleaned and someone used before I use. I expected an white cover on the bedding but no cover on it."

"We shouldn't be expecting big rooms and big beds since it's a homestay experience. I would say this is the place everyone should stay when visiting Jeonju. It's a really good experience of a Hanok. Very beautiful mini garden. Simple breakfast with excellent coffee. Floor heating keeps the room warm during winter. Very good service provided by owner. "Location is just outside hanok village which is good as not so noisy. But the room walls are very thin, I could hear neighbor conversation throughout the night. Very difficult to control shower head water. Is either too hot or too cold. Stayed for 2 nights but no make up room service. 1st day, Had to wait at front of hanok as no one at counter to help check in & could not dial the number provided at the signboard. Had to ask for help from a coffee place beside the hanok to call the boss. "

"The property is big and good for family or company picnic. It's bit away from the town center but quiet and peaceful. The manager was very kind to mail my wife's medicine that we left at the room. Overall very satisfied."

"The host was so accomodating in this property, he made sure that we were fully taken care of all the time. This is my first time staying in this kind of stay so I had to get used to the hard bedding since its pretty much just a blanket on the wooden floor, but that is all a part of the experience. I would say the whole property is beautiful in design, the area is beautiful and great, and I really loved my stay here at Hanok Goeul."

"Pros: Spacious room, bright, clean, good location in walking distance to Hanok village and many restaurants. Welcome drink - beer was nice. Bus from train station stop across hotel. Hotel looks new. Cons: No shower screen or shower curtain. Whole bathroom will be wet after shower."
