"A older hotel, but still nice. I found the pillows and bed to be too hard--I could feel the springs in the mattress. The hotel is clean and very well kept. The front desk staff were great and the cleaning staff do an excellent job. My small frustration was the parking fee. The charged ¥1000/night for parking which I thought was fine (¥1500 or more at most places). But then I discovered it was a local surface lot that only cost ¥700 for 24 hours. That just feels "cheap" on the hotel's part."

"This was one of our favourite hotels that we stayed at in Japan and it was because of the hospitality! These lovely folks went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and looked after from a detailed hotel orientation to booking us taxis for the next days travel. It is located about 25 mins outside of Utsunomiya central but offers the solace of a rural escape. They have all of the amenities you can think of from a self-serve espresso maker in the lobby to a self-serve affordable laundry room. The only downside due to its rural nature is the lack of dining options, but it's not hard to get into the downtown area as needed by taxi. It was the perfect retreat while we attended our MotoGP race weekend!"

"Overall great stay here, plenty of amenities for the business traveler. Location to Train Station is very good and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Staff were all very helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent!"
