Cypress Hollow Family Cabin

2 Bedroom/2 Bath cabin has one queen bed, a full/twin bunk bed, and a futon for up to 7 guests. Living room has a flat-screen TV, DVD/Blue-Ray player, and Netflix (no cable or antenna TV). If we have had enough rain, the crystal clear, spring fed Sabinal River is flowing at the southern edge of our property. It is mostly shallow, so it is perfect for kids, but there is a 5 foot deep hole as
well. And it is very private.

Lost Maples State Park is just 10 minutes away and has nature trails and the Sabinal River flowing through it and Garner State Park is about 40 minutes away.
The Utopia Bunkhouse is also on the property and can be rented together for larger groups.

Just okay…
The cabin was very clean. The beds were fine. I wish that the furniture in the living area had been comfortable. Futon couch and two wooden chairs. The property has great potential, but very junky. The river has been dry for a very long time. Overall it was just okay.

Great getaway!
We loved our weekend spent at this cabin. It has everything you need for cooking and it's so close to great hill country hiking locations. Would definitely return for another stay.

Spring break getaway
The cabin was a great place for us to stay. It was a lovely, secluded location and served our purposes well being located between 2 state parks. Thanks, Tracy!

Awesome weekend away!
We stayed here to get out of the city for a weekend and hiked at Lost Maples - very conveniently located close to the park. We very much enjoyed the cabin - it was sparkling clean and had all the kitchen essentials to cook breakfast and dinner. We also explored the town of Utopia and ate at the cafe. We found the locals to be welcoming and friendly. There are lots of great places close by and I’d love to come back and explore more. We did indeed see lots of wildlife on the property. Whitetail and axis deer came each morning and we saw an armadillo. The local cat MoMo was also a friendly visitor. It’s very peaceful and we made s’mores around the fire each night.
