"It was incredible!!! I almost don't want to share this with anyone. It was a beautiful and meaningful location. Read about the Silver Spur so you will be prepared before you arrive. "Tin Star is a great place to stay. Very close to the center of Bandera. The unit is clean and well maintained. Actually purpose-built to be a rental. The area is very peaceful and quiet. Super dark at night, so lots of stars. My only nit is the unit could use more places for the traveler’s things. Zero horizontal surfaces available. Dresser completely filled with bedding. No hooks or available shelves in the bathroom. Otherwise awesome."

"This is a very pleasant cabin, and the owners are very friendly and accomodating. The views from the cabin are wonderful, with the occasional deer sayin hello. Our only issue was the long uphill walk from the owner's house to the cabin, since my girlfriend has a heart condition and had a hard time with the walk. Other than that, we fully enjoyed it."
