"Before checking in, I had coffee and beer at the hostel cafe and was waiting to check in. I paid in advance, but they insisted that I didn't pay, so I showed them the receipt, but they didn't apologize and had a bad expression. "I liked how easily accessible the property was and how the staff were very well versed in tourist attractions and the like. I was helped by Marta when I checked in and she gave me a map with all the places I’d need to go to or tourist and food spots circled in which was very helpful, as well as the transportation links around the city. I just wish there were more options especially with protein at breakfast. It was all pretty much just toast and baked good but some eggs and maybe some sausages...

"The facilities were much more satisfactory than I expected. I was also satisfied with the elevator, kitchen, and view. However, the bedding smelled like it was not dry and the pillow smelled, so I put on the cover I brought and slept. The pillow cover was fine, but the pillow itself should be washed in hot water or replaced with a new one. Room number 3612"

"Most of the lockers were broken and you could not truly secure your belongings while you were out. The beds were not comfortable and the very limited electric receptacles were inconveniently located and ususlly being used; several of the secure charging lockers were out of order. The location is great, just across the river from the Guggenheim and reasonably walkable to other sights."

"The mattresses old, uncontrollable, tiny so you feel the springs on your back, overprice facility, very small bathroom with a dirty and so small shower even you move to water yourself. A big person even cannot fit on that shower. Really only good is the location."

"The staff allways provided help the were very nice; metro station is 2 blocks away from the hostel. The general area needs a bit of maintenance, the couches are in bad shape. Pillows need to be replaced very soon , they are dirty and not comfortable."

"Often time when travelling unpredictable things happen. We arrived in Bilbao after 11 which in turn left us with nowhere to sleep as they do not accept check-ins later. This was pretty upsetting after an already tumultuous day. I would never book for somewhere again that won’t be able to check us in."
