"The property is located outside of bath and is a lovely piece of history. Calm and peaceful surroundings by a river and some fields. The gentleman that checked us in was lovely. The room was clean and great for the price paid, although a few minor problems with shower shampoo dispenser and WiFi on TV. The breakfast was ok but I think small improvements could have been made- no bin... Minor inconvenience but walking around with rubbish in your hand is frustrating. No plant based milk ready to go or gluten free bread etc... fruit could have been fresher. More of a continental breakfast and no full English options but it wasn't the end of the world. We had some food to fill up on before a lovely walk around Bath and Bristol. Outside of hotel could do with some love but it's lovely otherwise."

"The hotel was clean, it smells fresh and welcoming as you walk in. The staff were welcoming and nothing was too much for them. The breakfast was great, plenty of options for everyone. The pool felt small but we did go Easter weekend so expected it to be busy. We had run out of tea/coffee/milk in the room and asked reception, it was a matter of 2-4 minutes before we got it, we were not expecting such a quick service. They also had activity packs for children and easter egg hunt which was a lovely touch."

" large bathroom with lovely walk-in shower. Good size room. Has safe and fridge. Near Roman baths and cathedral. Parking was a good 6 minutes+ walk as parking was not nearby. Bright and clean. Bed was comfortable"

"Very friendly staff greeted you at the reception desk. Vacating at 11am was very good as many do 10am. I had a long journey ahead of me after a lovely wedding the day before so i appreciated that extra time to pack again ! I was a lone traveller but felt safe in and around the hotel. Plenty of shops nearby and restaurants. Would stay again."
