"Do not hesitate to book! This may be the most special property we have ever stayed in the U.S. The owners have built a secluded oasis that will take your breath away. The attention to detail is second to none, and at every turn, something else just grabs your eye and makes you say well done. The log home is simply beautiful. The amenities are spot on, and virtually nothing forgotten. We had the pleasure of staying 3 nights, and during that time, we never heard a sound of the world. ...

"I could tell right away it used to be a Country Inn. Very colorful on the outside. Driving up to it is a little weird but not terribly difficult. I had to come down to get my key cards rekeyed after checking in. I don't remember seeing them get keyed when I checked in, front desk to make sure not to them next to anything wireless like cell phone and vehicle key fobs. I've never seen these items erase cards before so I think that was bull crap."

"This hotel has an overall rating on some sites that's pretty low--This hotel is aging and in need of new carpeting, but overall, the hotel is okay. The staff were friendly, everyone was nice and the hotel didn't have a room that was mobility and pet, so I chose pet room as I had to do so--and they did manage to get me a bath bench which really helped. There were no feathers in the pillows which is what I requested. Our bed was very very firm and uncomfortable. It was hard to sleep as if someone moved, the whole bed moved. Still, I would stay there again, and bring something to cushion the mattress! It was an okay place to stay and I'm so appreciative that they allow dogs because not every hotel in the area does. Thank you!"
