"Lovely Friendly staff. Accommodating with room change. Good very good and nice size portions. Gluten free fish and chips was amazing. Only minor downs, No gluten free biscuit in room as promised. No exchange of gluten free bread with starter (wasn’t hungry enough to ask, I’m sure they would have brought if asked) Bathroom, walls looked very wet and paint peeling off. "

"The hotel itself was beautiful, the staff were warm and welcoming. We stayed on a Wednesday which is steak night so if you want a meal there make sure you book first as it was very busy. "Lovely old Inn with plenty of country walks on your doorstep. Convenient location close to Cotswold Wildlife Park and Burford. The Inn was well presented with nice decor in the bar and restaurant area. Good quality food and portions for dinner (very busy, book in advance), the included breakfast fast was good too. The room was very spacious and larger than expected, we also had a large separate bathroom with bath. Some furnishings were a little worn but that's to be expected in a period inn....

"I liked the bedroom with mini fridge tea/coffee making items. I liked the large shower and the fact it was quiet and warm. I didnt like small cups i think mugs would be better. The extractor fan in bathroom didnt work, there is a little mold around the shower tray. The bathroom floor needs grouting in parts. The garden is a big eyesore full of weeds etc not useable for anyone staying. The whole property was spotlessly clean. I had no english tea bags in my room but found some in the kitchen...

"The staff were great and Roy, the manager, was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The room (suite) was wonderful and had all the amenities we could want. The property is located in a quiet section only a block or so away from many restaurants and shopping. Transportation by bus was nearby and the trains were within a short bus ride. We would gladly stay there again."
