"This is a wonderful little spot in eastern Germany, quite off the beaten bath and a little hard to find. Very clean, large spacious rooms, comfortable and quiet. Our minimal German got us most of the way through checking in, but the desk clerk found someone from the kitchen that could speak English. They were very pleasant and helpful. "Pension Teichblick was everything we could have hoped for and more. In general we felt we paid well over the odds in most places as we travelled across Germany. But Pension Teichblick was far and away the exception. And don't think that means low quality, it doesn't. We were totally satisfied with the accomodation Pension Teichblick offered. "The castle and its park are beautiful and the property is extremely quiet. We enjoyed the great breakfast buffet. Not so good was the restaurant (we ordered a package with a three course dinner). The waiter was not well trained, the menu card showed a different dessert than we were served. The food itself was ok. "

"Lovely apartment in rural Germany with excellent hosts. The only downside for this well equipped apartment was the bedroom was upstairs accessed by not much more than a ladder - a little tricky for us older folk. Service and support by the hosts was brilliant."
