"Great location for innumerable hikes and all kinds of biking. Amazing food, simple but spacious room. No toiletries except for a bar soap. Bathroom tiny but sufficient. A kettle to make coffee/tea would be nice. If driving, go via Hinterhelmsdorf and do not follow google maps as those lead through almost impassable backroads. "

"The entrance on the street is unprepossessing, but our room inside was excellent--clean and spacious, with an updated bathroom, plenty of outlets, a desk and a table with chairs, a sofa in a separate area so one person can read without bothering a partner sleeping, and two big windows. When we opened a window, we could hear the creek chuckling softly below. And in the mornings, Frau Winter provided a great breakfast buffet with something for everyone. "Klare Empfehlung...super Mädelsurlaub...wir hatten die ganze Pension...das Frühstück war wirklich toll...gemütliche freundliche Einrichtung, kurze Wege zu Fuß in die Altstadt, zur Meißner Porzelanmanufaktur, zum schönen kleinen Theater, zu guter Gastronomie, Geschäfte zum shoppen in der Umgebung...von unserer Vermieterin kamen viele gute Tipps...schöne Wanderung zum Weingut Proschwitz---"

In addition, there are numerous hiking paths leading from the hotel as well as different options, bus, train, or hiking, for traveling to nearby Oybin. "

"Sechs Tage Urlaub zu viert im Zittauer Gebirge und wir hatten uns ein tolles Ferienhaus gesucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Ruhige Lage, tolle Parkmöglichkeiten für beide Autos, super ausgestattete Küche. Wir konnten uns beim abendlichen Kochen austoben und in den bequemen Betten erholsamen Schlaf finden. Kleine Abstriche hatten die Bäder. Wir hatten extra nach zwei Bädern gesucht, leider hat das untere Bad ein Mini Waschbecken, dass weder waschen noch Zähne putzen ohne großes Wasserbad...

"We loved everything about this property! Our apartment was spacious and the kitchen had practically everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful. We were able to walk to a train station and a ferry to cross the river into Schmilka, which was absolutely adorable by the way! Some of the best hiking we have ever done was in the mountains behind the town! We would definitely stay here again! Ansgar, the caretaker, was attentive and lovely! Thank you for everything!"
