"What a great, historical building, complete with the old school bell! Lovely, quiet setting with front and back porches. Spacious rooms. Loved the sun room. Loved watching the birds, deer, and chipmunks in the backyard, overlooking the stream and meadow. Perfect property for the full ADK experience!"

"We stayed at the Arnold family home for a few days to hike in the Adirondacks’ fall foliage. The house was beautiful! The perfect location, not too far of a drive from any of our hikes (three brother and Phelps). The layout of the home was perfect for our family of mixed ages (50all the way down to 3 months). We hope to visit again next year! Perhaps a bit longer to get to enjoy the peaceful property around the home."

"With a great kitchen, dining room, two separate living rooms and four bedrooms, this place has plenty of room for a group of 4 to 6 people. The sauna in the yard worked great and small fire pit had seats for four. My only tip would be to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper, because it is on route 9. It’s not a very busy road, but you will hear cars on and off all day and night."

"If possible this property was even better than pictures or description. The owners were so attentive and accessible though not intrusive. The feel of the place, the amenities, supplies, everything was just great. Everyone in our group of 28, including children, teens, adults, and seniors, were happy and comfortable! "We come to lake placid often and stayed here before. Room service messaging is confusing and the front desk person was arguing about it which did not leave a great impression. Someone should correct the grammar of communication. The facility itself is renovated, decent size rooms. Traveled with our baby and my service dog. "
