"Our check in was easy and we were shown to our apartment and where to park our car in an enclosed, locked lot. We were just a few minutes walk to the city center of this charming town. There were lots of choices for eating and shopping nearby. Our 2 bedroom apartment was an upgrade from the 1 bedroom we had reserved. The kitchen was immense as well as the patio/balcony which could seat 8 comfortably. September was the perfect month for exploring the old town of Goslar. "

"This was our 3rd visit to Torfhaus Resort Hotel. It is our favorite. The location in the Harz Mountains is serene, but also full of possibilities for hiking, biking, and quick travel to picturesque towns. The houses/cabins at the resort are maintained in excellent condition. There is plenty of room for a family. We enjoy sitting on the deck with a meal and looking at the beautiful views of the forest. "Man merkt es handelt sich um ein älteres Gebäude, welche renoviert wurde. Das Zimmer inkl. Badezimmer war eiskalt und hat sich auch nicht richtig erwärmt. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war in meinen Augen nicht gegeben."

"Fantastic place. Not fancy, but clean, friendly and just a great stay! Restaurant closed Mondays, but a nearby restaurant "Klippe" took care of us:-) after dark, we had to figure out to use the side door with our key card, but got it to work. Breakfast was great, staff amazing. Ate at restaurant the next day and it was fabulous! Also- the 'conference room' area has an honorary system: take a snack, beer or wine and deposit some cash into a little piggy bank! Love it!!!!"

"Ich habe das Hotel gewählt weil es eine Ladestation für E Autos gibt. Leider wurde vergessen heir sen Strom anzuschalten und das Auto hat erst am Morgen um 5:30 angefangen mit 4 kW zu laden. Etwas ärgerlich aber kein Problem, einfach etwas früher 500m weiter an eine Schnellladesäule. Da man das Laden im Voraus bezahlen muss wurde es mit den Parkgebühren verrechnet. Alles in allem sehr schönes Hotel und alle Probleme wurden gelöst. "

"Historic hotel located at the edge of the old town. The rooms have been recently remodeled and ours was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good - better than most these days. Friendly host - many languages spoken & guests were from many lands. "
