This did ofcourse improve our over all impression of the hotel but service in the bar and breakfast restaurant was excellent and so was the breakfast. The location in the Harz Mountains is serene, but also full of possibilities for hiking, biking, and quick travel to picturesque towns. "Just a quick one-night stay. Room on the small side but functional. Due to the street noise, avoid the ones on the front side of the buildings. Public rooms VERY spiffy, warm, and welcoming (particularly, for Bad Harzburg). Smart interior design BEST BREAKFAST EVER!! Will go back."

"Quaint and charming property with amazing kitchen service from our elegant multi course meal to the extravagant breakfast buffet in morning. Great location in town for strolling along to all of the shops as well as getting to trail heads for hiking up the mountain. "

"Fantastic place. Not fancy, but clean, friendly and just a great stay! Restaurant closed Mondays, but a nearby restaurant "Klippe" took care of us:-) after dark, we had to figure out to use the side door with our key card, but got it to work. Breakfast was great, staff amazing. Ate at restaurant the next day and it was fabulous! Also- the 'conference room' area has an honorary system: take a snack, beer or wine and deposit some cash into a little piggy bank! Love it!!!!"

"Very nice place, great lodges, friendly staff, well equipped for children and a great location for seing harzen. But it is expensive. They will charge you 2.5 euro per person per day as an extra energi tax, which is not a part of the pricing on expedia. And a 'kur' tax, whatever that is. Childrens bed and baby chairs are also not included in the price (which I would expect from a 4 star, family friendly establishment). "Fint værelse med det som man kunne forvente. Dog var værelset meget mørkt da det vendte ud til bagsiden og det var meget mørkt pga store træer. "

"Wir haben ein verlängertes Wochenende in Bad Harzburg verbracht und waren sowohl vom Hotel als auch von der Kurstadt selbst positiv überrascht. Einzig schade war, dass das Hotelrestaurant und die Hotelbar abends geschlossen war. Dafür haben wir aber ein super Frühstück genossen und mit dem Glas Sekt am Morgen angestoßen. Lieben Dank auch nochmal an unseren tollen Kellner. Wir können es nur empfehlen!"
