"Value for money if you're on a budget. Positives are location with a private beach and kind of out of the crowded spots of Mauritius. Excellent staff and Mr. Shreeni the manager is an asset for their company. He manages his clients efficiently. Negatives are power cuts & related water problems are there, bit of a old villa and not a carpeted one for a 3 star status. "

"La maison est grande, confortable, tres propre, au calme et la terrasse est tres agréable. Nous avons aussi beaucoup profite de la superbe piscine. Mais c est surtout Anouchhka notre logeuse qui a rendu notre sejour inoubliable.Elle a été aux petis soins pour nous. Encore un grand merci a toi Anouchka. Je vous recommande vraiment cette location."

"Filthy place. Not half what is advertised. Dirt pool, dirty fridge. No free wifi no free cable tv, not even a bed sheet to cover during the night. 2 towels for 4, of which one scratched. Safety concerns with broken elec near the pool. Room not ready on arrival, breakfast not ready the next day (very basic) birds eating the pervious day leftovers in the restaurant kitchen, not clean either."

"Our family of four, including two small children, stayed here for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hosts were welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The location is great - close to some great beaches and also to the mountains. Jacques and Josee were a fund of local knowledge and their connections were priceless for setting us up with affordable activity options. Highly recommended. "

"La villa est très bien placée, à quelques mètres d'une très belle plage. Il faut une voiture car il n'y a aucun commerce et restauration accessibles à pied à proximité. La maison est grande mais n'a rien d'une villa de rêve : manque d'entretien général. C'est dommage car il suffirait de quelques petits travaux et nouvelle décoration pour la rendre plus agréable à vivre. Il faudrait la traiter également contre les cafards. Nous n'avons eu aucun accueil, ni de contact avec le propriétaire durant...

"Nous sommes arrivés à terme de notre séjour après 15 jours passés ici. C’est avec regret que nous avons quittés la maison et l’île. La propriétaire Angelica n’habite pas sur place mais reste toujours joignable c’est donc par le biais de Jacques que nous avons organisé notre séjour. Jacques est le frère de la propriétaire et dispose également d’une villa juste à côté . Nous sommes passés par lui pour nos transferts à notre arrivée et à notre départ. Jacques et son épouse sont des personnes...

"Bon séjour avec tout le confort et la beauté de la villa. Le temps n’était pas au rendez-vous ! Mais malgré tout nous avons pu faire le tour de l’île et profiter pour se dépayser et se reposer. Les mauriciens sont très gentils et de service. Les températures sont appréciables à cette saison. La villa est un peu reculé mais au calme et les jardins sont luxuriants. Le French café a 2 mn de la villa est super. Vous avez toute les commodités à 5 mn. Bon séjour dans l’ensemble."

"Beautiful property- everything was just perfect- spacious bedrooms with bathrooms, saloon, kitchen. Beautiful garden, with nicely maintained plants, spacious swimming pool and swimming pool area. Views….Each day very nice lady- Sante was cleaning the house and with additional fee she was cooking really tasty meals. Very good contact with property manager- Danny- perfect check in process easy to contact, reply and propose to all your questions. Definitely you need a car."

"The place is disgusting, the sheets and towels are dirty. The blanket is used and not covered with a sheet. The feeling that the sheets are also used."

"We had a fabulous honeymoon stay at C Mauritius. A beautiful beach location with a lovely room and atmosphere. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful… nothing was too much trouble. The main bar was a highlight of the stay, great drinks and entertainment. The food was fabulous with lots of options. Wok & Roll (al a carte restaurant) in particular was fantastic, the food was outstanding. The hotel went above and beyond for our honeymoon providing us with a discount voucher for a wonderful massage and an additional candlelit dinner! We loved every minute! "

Nice place

"Initially we had problems finding the placing ( the address on Hotels.com does not show a street number ) and only found it after a google search of “jags villa”. It is, though, quite close to the airport and once you find it access to the airport is very easy. The slight downside is that there are no shops or restaurants close by, you have to drive to the other side of the airport to a nice mall to get anything. Still, it was a very nice place, super clean, with a wonderful pool and a nice common area, which gave us an opportunity to chat and share experiences with another couple who was staying there at the same time. Would stay again!"

"The Hotel was in a super location great food everyday new theme for food fresh and service was great staff very friendly especially Gigi and Vic. Free glass bottom boat trip and very helpful boathouse staff. Worth every penny for this superb holiday. "
