"Lovely setting and the staff were amazing. We stayed in the piton suite, did not want to leave. Hope to return again sometime."

"Very nice place with amazing views. Lots of insects outside and also found a gecko inside our room. It’s nice and cosy and clean. I would say we went when the weather was so hot and with the glass view it’s was sooo hot inside the cabin despite the air on. The shower was o it side and only has cold water."

"Decided to book L'Exil lodge for Valentines day. If your driving very low car, I would strongly recommend leaving the car in the car park, and take the shuttle directly to the hotel, as the road is very bad to get there. The place its absolutely beautiful, the near by waterfall its a must to see, as it only takes 10-15 min walk. The staff is very polite and helpful. The rooms are very spacious, in the room there is no AC, there is a fan, no amenities like shampoo or shower gel, just make...

"We stay in this hotel for 3 days. We have changed 3 cottage in 3 days. There was no porter service to carry luggage in the room. Frist they put us in a dark villa with so many room which we did not like. Then we change to other cottage where the safe was not working. There was no one to fix it, in the morning there was no water. Then we have to change to other other cottage. Please review this hotel whatever you see on the webside it is not the same. "Beautiful spot on the cliff over the Indian Ocean on the south coast of Mauritius. About 40 minutes from the airport, including the track through the sugar cane plantation. "The tent was good, the lunch and dinner were good but the breakfast was poor. We were disappointed with the bed sheets that were not clean, and we were in bad luck with electricity issue it was switching off everyday at 6 am and we should walk all the way down to find someone to fix it, hope they are fixed now. The staff wre very friendly."

"Very dirty (toilets not clean, hair on the bathroom floor, traces of toothpaste on the mirrors, floor not mopped). No one was attending the reception desk during business hours, had to call someone to check me in. "

"We had a fabulous honeymoon stay at C Mauritius. A beautiful beach location with a lovely room and atmosphere. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful… nothing was too much trouble. The main bar was a highlight of the stay, great drinks and entertainment. The food was fabulous with lots of options. Wok & Roll (al a carte restaurant) in particular was fantastic, the food was outstanding. The hotel went above and beyond for our honeymoon providing us with a discount voucher for a wonderful massage and an additional candlelit dinner! We loved every minute! "

Nice place

"Initially we had problems finding the placing ( the address on Hotels.com does not show a street number ) and only found it after a google search of “jags villa”. It is, though, quite close to the airport and once you find it access to the airport is very easy. The slight downside is that there are no shops or restaurants close by, you have to drive to the other side of the airport to a nice mall to get anything. Still, it was a very nice place, super clean, with a wonderful pool and a nice common area, which gave us an opportunity to chat and share experiences with another couple who was staying there at the same time. Would stay again!"

"The Hotel was in a super location great food everyday new theme for food fresh and service was great staff very friendly especially Gigi and Vic. Free glass bottom boat trip and very helpful boathouse staff. Worth every penny for this superb holiday. "
