"We stayed at Deer Creek Retreat on our way from the Bay Area to Portland. It is a stunning location with a huge field populated by deer and turkeys. Far enough from I-5 that it’s not too noisy, but close enough that it’s convenient. Ashley was amazingly helpful and responsive to all of our questions. "This was such a relaxing 2 days! The home is fully stocked with blankets, towels, cleaning, kitchen has NICE cookware, real plates utensils, silverware etc. Most common condiments are in frig and sugar flower etc under cupboard. Nice to light a fire, it was my first and great instructions with supplies all that is needed is there but paper products packaging plates and bags are great to help start the fire. There was no cell service, no internet but that is temporary. I liked that technology was...

"We came to Winston for a family wedding. The neighborhood and house are older but the home is very clean and quiet. The manager was so helpful and welcoming when we arrived. She bent over backwards to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The house was stocked with everything you needed for a long weekend. I would stay there again."

"What an amazing location! We had our 3 grown children, their spouses, and their children join us for a trip to the coast. We had a total of 14 people with the youngest being 4 years old. We decided to stay along the river to give us a different experience than just beach time. We were not disappointed. The property was massive and gave us plenty of room to accommodate everyone comfortably. There were rooms we could all congregate in, but also rooms that allowed for some separation when needed....

"We had a great stay and home was just what was advertised. There were so many personal touches and the owner was great to deal with. There was a problem with the A/C before we arrived which was quickly relayed to us by owner and they had it fixed just after our arrival. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. "
