"A unique property away from the hustle. Stunning ocean front views were breathtaking. Access was a mission with 282 steps (yes we counted) and with the rain we had to wait for it to stop so we could venture out. Also, there is a 300 meter narrow one way road from the main road to the top of the carpark (before the steps). Drivers were good at navigating this windy road. Felt so welcomed by the staff right from the start and throughout my stay, the rooms were gorgeous, the pool at sunset was magical, hearing the ocean waves through the shutters, the beautiful wood floors in the rooms, seeing monkeys swinging around through the trees… it was wonderful! "This place is very close (walking distance) to the Uluwattu temple, which is very convenient. Otherwise, I don't really recommend Uluwattu as the area is very touristy and overpriced. The hotel staff seem pleasant enough, but were a bit impatient. The TV did not work, and even though we asked several times for them to come and fix it, we gave up because it seemed easier. "Lovely place to stay in Uluwatu right in the middle of everything. Easy to get around and walkable to a few restaurants and shops. Yoga offered on weekdays at the resort next door. They were able to upgrade me to a wooden cottage, which was lovely, but was located right next to the restaurant and therefore loud early morning and in the evenings. A pack of monkeys came through and though they caused some trouble, it was a really neat experience. "
