"We had a great stay at this hotel. Our room was well appointed, bathroom was updated, and bed was comfortable. The stairs were a bit of a pain with our luggage but doable. We ate in the historic tavern and the food was excellent. The front office staff was exceptional. I would definitely recommend a stay there."

"We had 8 adults, 6 kids and a few dogs. The house could not have been more perfect for the 4 families, 2 teen girls, 1 teen boy and the little kids too. There was more than enough space, bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone! The kitchen is heart of the home and there was more than enough space for all of us to cook, clean and hangout together without being in top of each other. We got lucky with amazing weather and spent our nights by the fire pit playing outside. The kids loved playing ping pong. The hosts sent a wonderful list of places to eat and things to do before we came and we got to explore and enjoy sites outside the house and then come home and relax in this beautiful space. We had the most incredible time at the Jewel House and are so grateful to have made lifetime memories here. We can’t wait to come back again!!!
