"We were thrilled with our choice of Hillthwaite. It has a central location near to both Windermere and Bowness yet high enough on a hill to have views of Lake Windermere from rooms and public spaces. The hotel is beautifully organized with several public lounges: sun room, library, bar/lounge and restaurant–all of which feature Lake views, as well as outdoor terraces. "Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...
