The manager called the day we were meant to check in to ask us to check in late which we did because they were on holiday or there was a staff shortage or someone was sick - I couldn't keep up with what the problem was. When we arrived there was dirty underwear, dirty bedding, full garbage bins, a huge leak in the living room, 0 toilet paper, no shampoo, soap or coffee. They promised to get it cleaned which they did while we were out at dinner but the...

"Wonderful hosts. Helped find a Dr. when we showed up sick and it turned out to be a very quick and easy Dr. office to go to. Helped with bags and left lots of necessities in the fridge. got back to us really quickly with any questions. Lovely view of the canal. I always wanted to stay on a canal. Grocery stores and tram lines are close. Lovely and interesting city."

Loved staying in such a well-designed space with lots of well thought-out conveniences. Accessible to central Amsterdam on foot or via public transit. "We used this a our main base for touring the Netherlands. It was near Amsterdam, slept 7 easily, roomy enough for us all. It was tough to speak with anyone with the accomodation before we got there as to how each room was stocked. Lots of dishes and cutlery. Nice and close to Volendam to walk into town and stroll. If we go back would use again. "

"The boat itself is great for a cozy stay. It’s nice and warm and in great condition. There are 4 single beds that are together to essentially create 2 doubles so it’s a bit cozy if you’re sharing with friends. The location is perfect as it’s just about a 10min walk from the free 24/7 ferry into the centre. Theres also plenty to see on the north side of the river. Would highly recommend this stay. "

"I thought that apartment was well situated, well appointed, nicely laid out, had everything we needed. I travelled with a friend. My only complaint is the sofa bed in the living room. It needs to be switched out. It was comfortable enough but looked a bit grungy and stained and was the first thing I saw when I entered the apartment.
