"This location was perfect in the countryside and very peaceful. Loved the balcony and the room was comfortable with a nice occasional chair and desk. Bathroom and closet good too. The room was very clean and towels were replaced and the bed made daily but only bathroom garbage was removed, not the garbage in the room and it seemed that the promised cleaning after two nights did not take place so no cups cleaned or tea replaced. The breakfast was good with an offer of made to order eggs daily....

"The trip was amazing. Easy check-in. We were slightly early, however the staff accommodated us. Staff were friendly and professional. Rooms were absolutely fabulous. "The bar manager was extremely negative about us as Expedia customers. We had to pay an additional €42 for one of our rooms they said they weren’t aware of two adults sharing a room. A blind was broken in my room and they weren’t interested in resolving this as we were only there for one night. Breakfast was not included despite me requesting this at booking point. The evening meal was good but somewhat overpriced. A disappointing stay overall. "

"Have to say we loved everything about our stay at Maasparel Nextdoor. The town of Arcen is lovely. Our room was clean, with great décor, comfortable beds and a awesome view of the river. The food for breakfast was delicious as well. By far the very best part of our stay was the friendly staff. Lisa and her team were warm, welcoming, accommodating and knowledgeable about the area.
