Which side of the street? No signage that matches
Only negative is the confusion where to check in. Two hotels across the street from each other. The reservation confirmation would be the perfect venue for this added info needed.

Prima hotel, schoon en vriendelijk personeel. Had om een stille kamer gevraagd, dat is niet gelukt. De verwarming stond uit, maar de pijpen die door de kamer heen liepen, tikten de hele nacht en af en toe kwam er een heel hard geluid uit. De kamer grensde aan het parkeer terrein wat mega gehorig was, wel 5 of 6 x auto’s met draaiende motoren , hard praten, slaande deuren midden in de nacht. Ook m’n eigen schuld want had geen oordoppen bij me, maar heb echt maar 2 uur geslapen. Dus tip: neem je oordoppen mee. Het is niet stil aan de achterzijde .

Heerlijke bedden. Schone ruime kamers en eigen terras/ balkon. Fantastisch uitgebreid ontbijt. Ook in het restaurant gedineerd en genoten van n heel goed lekker verzorgd 3 gangen menu tegen n zeer antrekkelijke prijs.

De receptie en hotelkamers zijn gescheiden van elkaar. Je moet een drukke straat oversteken en bij heg uitchecken is het ook wel onhandig dat je eerst nog naar een andere kocatie moet.

Gedateerd maar vriendelijk personeel
Het hotel is erg gedateerd, kan wel een frisse renovatie gebruiken. Binnen was alles jaren 80 style, veel donkere meubels en donker bruine gordijnen. Het was warm op de kamer, geen airco. De matrassen schoven ieder ogenblik van de bedden af, dat was niet fijn. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam daar valt niets op aan te merken.

We hebben regelmatig bij van der valk geslapen en kiezen daar voor omdat de kamers/badkamers altijd bij de tijd zijn en om de exclusiviteit bij het ontbijt (altijd net iets extra zoals filet americain, rosbief, zalm enz) Dat was hier echter niet het geval, de badkamer had een douche in het bad, badkamer en kamer waren wel netjes en schoon maar niet van der valk waardig. Het ontbijt was prima, maar ook dit vonden we voor van der valk begrippen erg tegenvallen en in principe niet meer dan bij elk ander hotel. We hebben er heerlijk geslapen, personeel is erg vriendelijk en alles is schoon en netjes.
