"Booked as a surprise for my partner. Arrived after dark which made it feel even more special as felt so secluded and added to the element of surprise. "We had a wonderful weekend in this shepherds hut. Sam was a great host, excellent communication before the stay and when we arrived. The hut was exactly as the photos depict on the website. Once the heater had done its job, it was really cosy and warm in there despite the outside temperature. Can't fault it. Would highly recommend. Pevensey Bay/Eastbourne are well worth a visit. "There was a slight mix up at the beginning of our trip - (The owners had not received confirmation of our booking until we arrived so they were not aware of any visitors enroute to them until we phoned when we were 5 minutes away!) However, the owners were extremely apologetic and very friendly and welcoming, they even gave us a bottle of prosecco for any inconvenience. "The property was easily located and check in on arrival was easy too. The hut is beautifully presented and offered everything you need for a stay and more. Located on Romney Marsh, the area is stunning with views for miles. The sunset at this property is something to behold. The sheep and chickens are very friendly and added to the experience. "We really enjoyed our stay, we had a lovely relaxed weekend and made the most of the hot tub. The owners were very helpful and friendly and any problems were happy for us to knock on there back door which is opposite the cabin"

"The most idyllic cosy weekend retreat. We absolutely loved our stay fully immersed in nature with just the sound of birds, rain and the crackling fire in our cosy shepherd’s hut for the weekend.
