Black Rock Oceanfront Resort
5/5 Excellent
"Wow. This resort is stunning, located on the edge of Ucluelet with views of the Pacific Ocean smashing against the *surprise* Black Rocks.
Staff were friendly, courteous, and professional. Alejandro and Lucy answered all questions with a smile.
Our room was spacious with the King Bed having a view of greenery. A gas fireplace was included for some nice evening ambiance to relax. The bathroom had a rainfall showerhead as well as a handheld shower. There was a separate soaker tub which also had a 'window' with sliders that could be opened from the bed-side if you wanted a view of the greenery.
Plenty of walking options as it is located near the Wild Pacific Trail, and also has paths down to the Big Beach Picnic Park. 'Town' is about a 15 minute walk away.\
There is one restaurant divided into two areas: Currents, and Big Beach Lounge. They have the same menu but Big Beach Lounge is more casual with a live-music corner on some days. Currents is a more formal sit-down experience."
