"We had a GREAT week at Villa Férus! The house is great, feels like the majority of the house has been redecorated recently. The beds are new, wonderful to have airconditioning in all bedrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the outdoor gasBBQ is brand new. The view from the house is ABSOLUTELY breathtaking, as well is the area. It is located on a hill, and the road to the house is bumpy / stony, which can be difficult to drive up to but we have been assured it will be asphalted soon. If I have to comment one thing, I would say that a little bit more shaded areas around the house would be welcome, as it can be really very warm. The communication with the contactpersons from the house was very quick and direct, and they were open for any questions. Definitely recommending Villa Férus! "

"We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July. We were shown to our bedroom at the end of a corridor. After the door there are 2 steps up to the accommodation level but no further door beyond these steps. During the night my wife woke up to go to the bathroom. As there was no lighting, and she was in an unfamiliar environment, she mistook the space above the steps to be the entrance to the bathroom. She fell down both steps and hit her arm, knee and head very hard on the tiled floor. The noise from the fall was significant. She seemed to be unharmed other than severe bruising. The following morning I reported this to 2 people at reception and asked them to log the incident in case of repercussions and asked that they put night lights in the room. They did not seem very interested. Later in the day I asked the Duty Manager if the report had been recorded and it hadn’t. I also asked him to make sure it was logged. We left after 2 nights having not received any formal type of apology, no night lights were placed in the room and no one even came to the room to see if we were safe. On arrival in Spain my wife went to hospital for a head scan. Fortunately she seems to have escaped and serious effects. But this could very easily have been a fatal fall and the steps in question are clearly a hazard to life, health and safety."

"We love this part of France, and it was the perfect place for us to stay. Quiet and away from any distractions, it was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The house had everything we needed and communication with Hervé was excellent. Possibility to walk to a small local shop for essentials, as long as you don’t mind walking up the hill afterwards, and there is a restaurant in the same establishment. Not too far to drive to a town that has everything else one might need. We’ll be back!"
