"A wonderful boutique hotel, with an excellent location. It was so artfully decorated and I perfect condition. But what makes it stand out was the staff who treated my wife and I as if we were family. I had a mild health episode while there. They found medical attention and there concern was sincere. I would highly recommend."

"Accommodations were basic but clean and the staff were very helpful and kind. The location was very perfect for us . My only recommendation would be some eggs for the breakfast and black tea. It was not easy to find by the address, taxi couldn’t find it but by my map (maps.me) it was easy. "

"This place is a hidden gem. It’s centrally located to a lot of things in la Candelaria and it’s clean and safe. Andres is absolutely fantastic. He’s attentive, friendly and makes you feel at home. The truth is that the rest of the staff is really wonderful. The one thing to consider is that the building is old with wooden rickety floors. You definitely will hear everyone coming in at all hours. This was not an issue for us because we had ear plugs, and after a long day, we slept right through...

"Great location in the historic center, close to everything important for a short visit. Reasonable shuttle service to and from the airport. Friendly staff. Nice relaxing atrium courtyard. No real bar, but not necessary in this neighborhood. Not really accessible, i.e. stairs required to access property and rooms but no handrails. "

"Local staff were very helpful and friendly. Free bike to borrow on Sunday to take part in the cicolovia. Nice, varied (though a little small in terms of portion size) breakfasts, and being able to eat on the rooftop patio was a bonus. There was a live DJ on Friday, which was cool. Beers were cheap. Cool design to the building. I was in a private single room and it met all of my needs for a good price. Great location - easy to walk places and taxis pass by right in front. "This was a very good surprise, and I’m sure it qualifies as a hidden gem, If you’re looking for a stay in downtown Bogotá. The overall value is very good, and you will have a great time if you understand that it’s an old traditional mansion, that was converted to Hotel. It’s comfortable enough, but has the normal issues with the lack of 5-star amenities. We really liked our stay and would certainly go back if needed to stay downtown."
