" Well beyond our highest expectations, our 1st time at THE WEATHERVANE INN was exceptionally quiet & perfectly comfortable. Our room had a beautiful fireplace surrounded by half-stone, clearly high end sheets, nice linens & generously sized soft towels for our drying pleasure post relaxation in our rooms spacious hot tub bath. Further impressed, the staff members proved 2b very personable & refreshingly knowledgeable & the convenience of having any & all amenities readily on hand (paper bowls, spoons, tissue, sugar, creamers, coffee) along with a vast, well stocked breakfast bar providing a variety of many hot dishes in addition to the usual cold choices most routinely offer & fresh snacks one may purchase behind the front desk in lue of a vending machine speaks volumes about how this place truly rises above & strives to stand out among the rest. This quaint little getaway is perfectly situated on White Lake leading into beautiful Lake Michigan where we had the pleasure of witnessing the local beaver population working on their homes, neighboring ducks & geese gliding carelessly across the cold clear blue water b4 bringing a perfect end to an absolutely amazing day with a gorgeous sunset display. Highly recommend! "

"This property is on a major travel atery, making it convenient and easy to find. The rooms are spacios and have the amenitities needed for a room such as a fridge, hair dryer and some cable stations on the tv. A great continental breakfast is available for two hours in the morning. The staff there is super friendly and helpful. No housekeeping entered my room for the three days I stayed. So, no trash emptied, no new towels replacing used ones. This was not mentioned during my entry with the desk staff. I would stay here again. "

"The cabin layout and size worked out great for our family of 6 (4 kids, ages 7 and under) to have a weekend getaway to take in the winter beauty of Lake Michigan and the surrounding area. It's a convenient location to the Luge Sports park (where we did some ice skating), other outdoor recreation, and Red Rooster (so easy for takeout). The cabin was super clean and set up nicely with everything we needed and offered great views of the lake. We enjoyed exploring the snowy beach, playing lots of board games, coloring, catching an icy sunset, and cozying up for a movie with popcorn and hot cocoa. We weren't quite ready to come home when it was time to leave!"
