"Beautiful little cottage in a gorgeous location. Was only a short stay for us as we had come up to see family, but we’ll come again for a longer stay and do some walking.Alex - the owner - was fab with comms and answered all our questions.Lovely and clean, had everything we needed. Even milk and a welcome pack of choccy biccies, thank you Alex!Towels provided as well."

"Outstanding!! Place is lovely and comfy and well decorated. Kitchen and house is well stocked and views are nice. Parking next door is restaurant car park is easy. Communication and access was easy and good. "

"We enjoyed the cottage espically thr cosy log burner , the garden is not good if you struggle with walking up very steep steps , there was a very weird smell in the bathroom , cottage very rural , but we enjoyed walks , the main bedroom bed is very squeaky bit uncomfortable , but we did enjoy our stay away "

When I asked Rachel if there was a coffee maker or French press in the home she said no and then messaged me that she’d gone out to get one for our stay. How lovely is that!? She left us a couple of treats as well. The cottage was cozy and quiet and had everything we needed for our winter retreat. "We loved our time staying at Midsummer Barn. The pictures online do not do it justice. It has character and charm. It is spacious and comfortable and well equipped for everything a family needs for time away. There were fresh eggs and cider to welcome us which was a lovely touch. The view is spectacular and the area is very quiet and peaceful. It’s easy access to motorways, but feels miles away. Yvonne was a responsive, gracious host. "Super cute house in a quaint, hilly area! The host was very responsive and super nice. The hot tub was clean and warm and the house felt very comfortable in general, being well stocked with kitchen and cleaning supplies, games, towels, and bedding. I thought it was adorable and a cozy stay for a few days. I would definitely go back to explore the local area and hiking more. "

"We went to stay with friends for a couple of nights to catch up and see more friends nearby. We had a wonderful time. Amy made us feel really welcome through her messages in advance and we really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies she had left for us. The cottage was beautiful, clean, and everything we needed. The log fired hot tub was a real treat and we barely left the cottage the whole time, except to walk round the locks and back. "We enjoyed our stay at Robin's Nest while visiting family in the area. The owners were quick to respond to an issue with the heating and were very helpful. The bungalow was warm and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen; the washing machine and tumble dryer were very useful. We found the double bed slightly on the small side."
