"The Elms is a beautiful hotel built in 1912 so it has an authentic early 20th century charm. It is architecturally beautiful from it's elegant main lobby to the curved upper seating in the Three Owls restaurant to the two story skylight in the main dining room; really a treat for the senses. The food was very good at the restaurant and while we were there they put on a Thanksgiving buffet that was very well attended and held in the beautiful main dining room. The rooms are small by todays standards but in top condition. The beds were particularly comfortable. The pools and hot tub were beautiful and clean. The weight room was well equipped with lots of machines and some free weights. The staff was professional and attentive. We were there during a snow and the grounds crew had all the side walks clear and salted before day break! This place is a jewel in the heartland of America, well worth the time and money if you are in the area."

"Great host, super clean n comfy place. Took a sister trip weekend and this house was very nice. We had so much fun in the little town shopping n eating, and loved the little house. Nice mattresses, very cozy, will definitely stay at this little gem again and have told all our family and friends."
